The Extra Butter x adidas Samba ‘Consortium Cup’ brings forward a design inspired by the 2002 Brazilian film ‘City of God.’ These shoes have a washed-out palette reminiscent of the colors of Rio de Janeiro, highlighted by a pastel blue suede upper. Stitched three-stripes on the side and pale yellow accents add contrasting bursts of color to the collar lining, back tab and tongue. The embroidered Extra Butter graphic on the side of the heel and mosaic-print insoles spring to mind the idyllic sidewalks of Copacabana Beach.
